I have been making wine for almost a decade. As a pilot, who has flown all over the world, I have been a student of the world’s wine and food regions even longer.
My first step into professional winemaking began when I was a partner in developing a Pinot Noir vineyard in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Following the success of that experience, I realized I wanted to get more “hands on” in making wine. I am fortunate enough to have friends who are great winemakers in the Napa Valley. Their kindness and generosity, combined with courses in enology at UC Davis, gave me a foundation to create great wine.
